Dining

Pure, natural, organic are words that come to mind when talking about the amazing tastes you will enjoy in the Great Lakes. The clean waterways and rich pasturelands of the region have formed a coastal pantry of tantalising delights. The Great Lakes has a long and proud history of producing great tastes – food and wine – of exceptional quality. The waters of the region offer a rich seafood harvest each year including our famous oysters. The Great Lakes is the largest supplier of oysters on the East Coast and one of the few places where you can buy fresh from the lake.
The hinterland hides boutique wineries, farm gates and cafés full of country charm and hospitality. Here you can drop in and talk direct with the grower. Our farmers markets bring locals together to celebrate the diverse produce of the Great Lakes. They are a ‘foodies’ paradise! The climate, landscape and people have created a region perfect for ‘real’ food experiences. Award-winning dining combined with creative approaches to food and wine and unique settings are what make the Great Lakes one of a kind.

This was the most welcoming , the most engaging, the most helpful , the most interested (in us being looked after) that we’ve seen in a very long time.

The facility is in absolute top condition in every aspect. Gardens trimmed and pruned and the pool in pristine condition. (That’s why we spent so much time in and around the pool)
Anyway, we were sad to drive away....
However,.........
“We’ll Be Back”.
Kindest regards,
Deon & Tammy
